Gormley Construction Ltd. is a building contracting company based in South Sligo, Ireland with vast experience in construction. We specialise in one-off homes, extensions and renovations of any size and complexity, HSE projects, residential developments and both small and large-scale commercial units, departmental projects & OPW projects. We operate nationwide, but mainly focus on the Connaught region with directly employed staff of whom are highly capable tradespeople and a highly proven panel of skilled subcontractors.

Insurance Work Projects
This work can vary from the replacement of slipped or broken roof tiles, to the repair of damage caused by burst water pipes through to the complete reconstruction of fire damaged properties. In order to be accepted by insurance companies to carry out this type of work, we have to meet strict standards of performance and customer care and are regularly accessed for our ability to produce quality work.
The services we provide are as follows:
- Visit the property to validate / repudiate the claim
- Provide an estimate for the works on an agreed schedule of rates
- Supply digital photographic evidence of the damage caused
- Repair the property to pre-loss condition
- Project manage the job from start to finish
Government Incentive Scheme
The Home Renovation Incentive scheme enables homeowners or landlords to claim tax relief on repairs, renovations or improvement work that is carried out on their main home or rental property by tax-compliant contractors and that is subject to 13.5% VAT. It was introduced for homeowners in October 2013 and was extended to landlords in October 2014. We are in compliance with the scheme and can complete all the required forms in order for you to get the maximum benefit.
